Course Description        

• Microsoft Excel is a commercial spreadsheet application, written and distributed by Microsoft for Microsoft Windows.
• Microsoft Excel is the spreadsheet component of the Microsoft Office Suite. It is used primarily to enter, edit, format, sort, perform mathematical computations, save, retrieve and print numeric data.

Pre-requisites

• Before proceeding with this course, learners should have a basic understanding of Computer peripherals like mouse, keyboard, monitor, screen etc. and their basic operations.
• Learners should also have the basic skills of file management and folder navigations for Windows Application

Audience            

• This course has been designed for computer users who would like to learn Microsoft Excel in easy and simple steps. It will be highly useful for those learners who do not have prior exposure to Microsoft applications.

• To familiarize oneself with Excel’s basic features
• To appreciate what a spreadsheet is and how to analyze it
• To recognize the difference between a formula and a constant
• To become comfortable with the toolbars that are presented in Excel
• To open, save, and print Excel worksheets with ease
• To differentiate between an Excel worksheet and an Excel workbook
• To feel comfortable inserting and deleting new rows and columns
• To develop formulas to simplify calculations
• To use Print Preview to examine a spreadsheet before printing
• To create future Excel spreadsheets with ease and comfort
