Details
The course has two main objectives:
- The course will prepare students for listening to university-level lectures, as well as for interacting with teachers and other students in university courses.
- The course will also aim to improve the listening level of students in preparation for the TOEFL or IELTS examinations.
The format of the course will be recorded sections of university lectures. Students will be asked to listen to the lectures and to respond in writing to questions about the lectures. There will also be weekly discussion forums in which students will discuss topics related to the lectures.
The professor, Mr. Scott Zagoria (USA) is completing his doctorate in Online Instruction. He has many years experience teaching English to international students, and has set up his own website for teaching English to Asian students.

Online Bridging courses to prepare students for transfer into foreign or other universities, especially US.
Each course lasts 2 months and carries 3 credits, equivalent to American credits, which can then be transfered into Anerican Universities.
No degrees offered. Only basic courses in skills needed for American universities. English courses in Listening, Speaking, REading, Writing, Business English, and others. Non-English courses in Critical thinking and Logic, Internet searches, applied mathematics, philosophy and society, economics, psychology, etc.
A one-year, 10-course Foundation Year package is also available, as well as a 2-year, 20-course Associate package.
ROCC is an arm of John Zepp Academy Foundation Inc., a non-profit foundation. All proceeds from courses go to educational projects in Isabela Province, especially a kindergarten, a study center, and scholarships for deserving university students.
