Jet G. Nera

Managing Director, Shine Consulting

An A.B. Political Science graduate, “Jet” as he is fondly called, carries with him over 27 years of combined hands-on experience and practice in the fields of Hotel, Resort and Cruise Ship Operations, Training, Education and Development, Organization Development and Management of Work Groups.
His last post was as the Asst. Vice President for Corporate Training & Development of the FAST Logistics Group, managing the training & development needs of over 3,000 employees nationwide. 

A multi-awarded operations man, he was LBC Aircargo’s youngest appointed Branch Manager in 1985 and WG&A SuperFerry’s “Hotel Manager of the Year” in 1997. Having completed his Organization Development Course from the Ateneo De Manila’s CORD, Jet is likewise a certified DDI Facilitator for Service Plus since 1990 and a certified Facilitator for over 60 programs under DDI’s IM:Ex since 2006.

Elected as the President of the Philippine Society for Training & Development (PSTD) in 2008, Jet continues to being active with PSTD as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He was a member of the Philippine delegation to the Microsoft’s “Global Partners in Learning Forum” held in Washington, D.C., U.S.A. last November 5-9, 2011.
