Coaching TODAY is no longer regarded as just a fad or one of the latest trends in management.  Coaching is increasingly getting further recognized as a means for creating effective conversations, for assessing and aligning or re-aligning values and for achieving goals.

Many organizations today are going for a Coaching Culture as part of their strategic directions.  Such culture is creating an environment where all members are one in having initiative to convert problems into opportunities and create solutions.  This coaching culture is anchored on the basic paradigm that a “person is able, creative, resourceful and whole.”

A KEY to having an effective coaching culture is, for all levels in the organization, being open to coaching.  Executives, Managers, other Leaders, employees as coachees make them better coaches.  Corporate coaching increases the employee’s capacity to manage and lead the organization to achieve quantum results.  It likewise increases his psychological and personal mastery skill like self-awareness and emotional effectiveness. As he works on himself as a coachee, he becomes a model of strengthintegrity and openness, three of the essential values of an effective coach.

The big question is: How can one coach?  What are the skills involved? What are the ingredients of being an effective Life, Executive or Corporate Coach?
