Training of Trainers for CDA Accredited Training Providers
Details
The course aims to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the accredited training providers of the Cooperative Development Authority from Region 3 in designing, conducting, monitoring and evaluating compliance trainings for cooperatives.
At the end of the course, the participants are expected to:
- Develop and affirm a common framework that will guide the SUCs in conducting ToT for ATPs.
- Demonstrate competencies in:
- Identifying learners’ needs and capacities;
- Formulating ToT curriculum and design;
- Choosing the appropriate participatory learning methods and tools for ToT;
- Formulating appropriate monitoring and evaluation tools for ToT; and
- Designing ToT management structure
Outline
The course consists of six modules as presented below:
Module 1: Enhanced Training Development and Management
Module 2: Introduction/Overview of ATP Legal Bases, Roles, Activities & Outputs
Module 3: Module Development for the CDA 14 Compliance Trainings
Module 4: Contemporary Philosophy, Principles and Process of Adult Learning
Module 5: Appropriate and Useful Methods for Specific Modules
Module 6: Documentation, Monitoring and Evaluation of ATP Conducted

Training Methodologies
Aside from lecture-discussions, the course also uses experiential learning methodologies such as workshop activities and presentation, micro teaching and critiquing sessions to hone the skills of participants in crafting and presenting their modules.
