Certificate Course in Bartending

This is a three to six-month program designed for the student who would like to learn the fundamentals of bartending, either just for fun or for basic knowledge, and is unsure whether they would like to work as a professional bartender after taking the course. All throughout the course, each student will be taught all the fundamentals of bartending: the different types of glassware, the tools of the bar, how to set up and break down a bar, how to pour and mix drinks correctly as well as over a hundred drink recipes including the glassware and garnishes they deserve. Student will also taught the fundamental skills in flair bartending based on style, timing and proper execution.

The program includes a mix of lecture and lab sessions. The students learn the art of mixology by preparing frozen drinks, layered drinks, and specialized cocktails, speed and efficiency in preparing drinks, bar operations, and the knowledge of beers and wines. The skills learned in this course prepares students for careers in the bartending industry as bar tenders, waiters, bar backs in restaurants, dance clubs, bars, and hotels as well as the skills to work as independent bartenders for special events and parties.
