Details

In this fast-paced and global business environment, all organizations (be it in the private/commercial or public/non-profit sectors) are implementing initiatives and action plans through projects. This in turn made "project management" one of the most sought-after management skills worldwide. The main objective of this training is to equip the participants with the general Project Management background and rudimentary techniques that are sure to be found useful in a participant's everyday challenges with projects.

The course will involve the participants briefly through the Project Management Framework based on the Project Management Institute's "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) 5th Edition" - the reference of the latest ISO standard on project management (ISO® 21500:2012). Most of the course will cover insights on the pertinent concepts and good practices of project management applicable in any project. The learning process during the training course will also be reinforced by the individual and team exercises to be conducted using tools and techniques that the participants can immediately apply in their respective workplaces.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Any person working on or will work on a project, project team members, project leads, project administrators, project coordinators, functional supervisors and managers, ad-hoc or "accidental" project managers, and anyone who is interested in the basics of project management.
