The Director and Cinematographer are directly behind the camera, but who are behind them? Get to know the crew and their roles. Unravel the rudiments of the production process and the intensive preparation required in making a video. Go beyond what goes on behind the camera.

Production Management is the backbone of production. Its breadth covers the supervision of finances, manpower, equipment, resources, and time. It is an indispensable aspect responsible for laying down the foundation of transforming the vision into an actual video.

Production Management is easy in principle but hard in practice. This course will equip the participants with tips and tools to effectively complete video projects and minimize the costly mistakes. It will provide a comprehensive and effective grounding in the practical aspects of video production.

The techniques that will be discussed in this workshop are also applicable to film and event videography.

Prerequisite

This course is designed to be easily understood by novices. However it is preferable if they had attended Digital Video Production. Business background is an advantage.

After the Course

Participants may opt to venture in producing (AVPs, Music Videos, Virals, Indie Short Films, Wedding Teasers) and take on production management roles. Participants who do not wish to be directly involved in the actual production process will find this course useful in managing and evaluating video production bids for marketing campaigns. They also have the options to take the Digital Video Cinematography, Corporate Video Production and Music Video Making for more holistic and extensive knowledge.

Czarina Sheela Alcasid

Sheela completed the Master of Entrepreneurship program from the Asian Institute of Management. She has her own business but her fascination and passion for production keeps pulling her to work in the industry. She started in 2007 as the program host for NBN 4’s “Kapihan ng Bayan” and occasionally, as on-cam commercial talent after. Sheela had performed various capacities such as production manager, assistant director and line producer for music videos, AVPs, video viral and commercial.
