COURSE DESCRIPTION :
The Basics of Training Design and Delivery for Workplace Learning and Performance Professionals is a three (3) day foundational course that aims to introduce and develop the technical competencies of participants specifically in the areas of trainingneeds analysis and assessment, instructional design, delivery, and evaluation of needs-based and learner-centered training interventions.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
- Assess training needs at strategic and individual levels
- Formulate learning objectives that will address identified learning needs
- Explain the step-by-step process in designing a learning activity for adult learners
- Learn essential factors in developing instructional materials that will aid and support the effective delivery of learning interventions
- Identify the different levels of training evaluation and measurement of trainingeffectiveness
- Explain the concept and principles of workplace learning and performance (WLP)
- Identify their various roles and responsibilities as WLP practitioners

Ms. Geronimo has almost 30 years of expertise in the fields of Human Resources Management and Organizational Development. Venee was HR Director of the Univeristyof the Philippines-Manila for 17 years where she also served as part-time faculty of the Department of Social Science. She also served as Assistant Director of the HRM&D Division of the Philippines International Convention Center and then Chief of the Professional Development Division of the Career Executive Service Board of the Office of the President of the Philippines. She is now a freelance HR Specialist and OD Consultant for local and international firms.
