Details
Coaching is foundational for every leader. It is an essential skill to help subordinates, colleagues and the organization to achieve peak performance. Unfortunately, coaching skills do not come naturally. They
need to be learned, developed and practiced over time.
To further enhance and sustain professional advancement of colleagues and associates, mentoring is a powerful intervention. Mentoring is essentially an off-line help to another in making significant transitions in knowledge,
work or professional training. A mentoring arrangement requires time and commitment from both the mentor and mentee. Thus, line management and organizational support is critical to ensure the successful mentorship programmes.
