The courses in this program shall aid students in developing the necessary language skills to comprehend challenging reading and listening texts as reflected in IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, SAT among others. Test-taking strategies shall also be taught so that the students shall learn how to maximize their time well during tests. Speaking exercises will be a priority since students are usually tested on how well they produce responses under time pressure. Students applying in international and local schools, moving to another country for college, pursuing a career that requires a standardized English grade, are welcome to apply.

The Tutorial and Languages Department of Enderun Colleges, called The Study, started accommodating English as Second Language students in 2008. It became a vehicle for degree-bound students to develop and master their academic English skills prior to taking up regular degree courses in the college.
