PIANO LESSONS – INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
Students will learn more complex repertoires, and music theory skills. Specific skills students will develop include sight reading, listening skills, primary root position triads, hand-over-hand major and minor arpeggios, intervals, fingering, notation, time signatures, dynamics, basic harmonization, key signatures, and various methods of tone production.
Reminder:
Upon enrolling, students enrolled in this level must visit any YMA School Centers and undergo a skill assessment procedure to determine if he/she is qualified for this level.
PIANO LESSONS – ADVANCE LEVEL
Students venturing into advance levels will start to learn more difficult & complex range of repertoires. They are studying original “master pieces” by great composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Liszt, Debussy and Prokofiev. Their advancing
technique and musicianship will allow them to produce the touch, sound, timbre, speed needed for such works. At this level they may wish to begin playing in school orchestras and bands, or start their own chamber music group with other young musicians.
The music school is committed to support each student to reach this level of playing, With the right teaching playing techniques, suitable environment and commitment from the student, every child can achieve it.
