This class teaches the basics of game programming using PyGame, a Python-based game engine. It includes discussion on the fundamental concepts in game making, the theory behind it, and the common game designs for a 2D game environment.

At the end of this class, the student should be able to:
• understand and implement a game in Python using PyGame
• make use of the game engine libraries
• understand and undergo through the game production life cycle
• implement a particular game design
• develop several levels of their game
