Details
The most popular scuba diving course in the world is the PADI Open Water Course. This course gives you the foundational knowledge and skills you need to be able to dive with a buddy independent of supervision. The course consists of classroom sessions, where you learn about the theory of diving through watching PADI videos and completing Knowledge Reviews, followed by a simple exam. There are five confined water sessions (often combined), where you take your first breaths underwater and learn how to complete some basic diving skills. There are also four open water dives, where you put into practice what you learn in confined water, as well as enjoying the wonders under the ocean.
The course includes the PADI Open Water manual, log book, recreational dive planner, certification and use of all required diving equipment. Upon completion you will receive a lifelong PADI certification card, which is recognized worldwide and allows you dive to a maximum 18 meters depth.
