Action Research in Literacy Instruction is a two-day lecture workshop that tackles the whats and whys of action research, the processses in conducting it, and its implications in improving literacy instructions. This lecture workshop targets literacy teachers and the other stakeholders who give literacy instruction in all grade levels. Series of lectures will be given about Action Research and will be followed with their corresponding workshops.
There will be a direct interaction among the participants which will be followed with corresponding workshops. Workshop facilitators will ensure that the participants are guided accordingly. This course aims to equip the participants with skills and knowledge about Action Research that will eventually help them to conduct their own action research.
This seminar-workshop will motivate and enable Language Arts teachers to start their own action researches and help them make important decisions as they reflect on their practices in literacy instruction.

Readability Talks will also engage university students, parents, and allied professionals in discussing other relevant topics and issues.
