Swimming is not a natural activity for us humans--unlike walking and running, as we are land mammals. Whenever we’re in the pool, we instinctively fight the water, make splashes and drag due to our inability to be naturally comfortable in it. When we seek help for our agitating, exhausting strokes in the pool that cause major drag; The traditional technique that we’re used to go to, actually makes it harder for us to swim easily, gracefully, and effectively.
