The Conversational Filipino for Beginners course is here to give you the absolute basics of the Filipino language in a quick and efficient way.
This includes lessons that will teach you how to perform basic communicative functions in conversational or colloquial Filipino. In short, this course focuses on 'survival' or 'essential' Filipino, which will surely be beneficial to those traveling or relocating to the Philippines soon.
After taking the course, it is expected that students will reach approximately higher level of fluency in the Filipino.
Aside from teaching the Filipino language, this course also aims to familiarize students with the Filipino culture.

In 1920's, Powers went to New York City with the hopes of becoming an actor. His business and entrepreneurial skills led him elsewhere. He overheard an associate saying that he wanted a group of attractive people to pose for magazine advertisements. Powers rounded up acting friends and trained them for these advertisements so the modeling industry was born. He founded the first modeling agency in 1923.
