Gaining Professional Welders Qualification Test Certificate.

Welder certification, (also known as welder qualification) is a process which examines and documents a welder’s capability to create welds of acceptable quality following a well defined weldingprocedure.

The International Maritime Welding Society provides specific Marine Welder Certification to offshore, oil & gas, shipbuilding, seagoing vessels crew members of engineering department.

Marine Welder IMWS-MW (4.0) personnel  have ability to perform high pressurized vessel, boilers, major piping line system of ship, offshore, submarine pipeline system.

The CWI-IMWS (6.0) International Maritime Welding Society

A welding inspector is an individual who is responsible for overseeing. all the activities and duties of the welding staff and ensuring that. Everything is in proper working manner. A welding inspector’s job is. to make sure that the welders work within the set quality and deadline client projects.

IMWS 6.0 Equivalent Certification  quality control welding Inspection

Formal standard procedures are adopted for quality control of welding when the risk of defects and failure must be minimized. These are based on the selection of suitable materials, use of a standard procedure, and qualification of the skilled welder.

The (WPS) Welding Procedure Specification is a written qualified acceptable welding procedure, prepared to provide direction for making Production weld

The WPS references is supported by the Welding Procedures approval records (WPAR) reports variables recorded during the welding test coupons and also contains the test results. Strength, ductility and toughness are commonly tested together with any other mechanical properties(e.g.) hardness, corrosion resistance, creep strength) required for the application.

The WPS and WPAR provide control of the structure and properties of the welded joints ensuring that the essentials welding variables are those, which influence the joints properties and are specific to the welding process and other circumstances.

Welding Educator IMWS-WE (5.0)

The  Welding Educator Maritime Welding Society certification (IMWS-WE) is well experienced  welding professional specifically in the welding education trade of expedience. This IMWS-WE (5.0) certify  your skills ability, and knowledge to specifically evidence of teaching and perform operations associated with Maritime welder training and theoretical aspects and practical  instruction.

Welding and joining are basic and essential technologies for manufacturing, and used in all the manufacture industry. The welding and joining technologies in the world have been developed through cooperative researches between the industry sector, academic circles and public agencies, and reached a world leading group economic        We should maintain our policies as a manufacturing  policies as a manufacturing oriented worldwide from now on.

However, our IMWS is run close by many developing countries in manufacturing technologies, owning to her inherent problems including a rapid decrease in a youth population and retirement of many skillful workers. The weakening manufacturing technologies of our industry is our deep concern. The relative weakness in welding and joining technologies might result in lowering world competitiveness of our manufacturing industry. Continuing developments of these technologies have to be accompanied.

The International Maritime Welding Society (IMWS) intends to make every effort to assist the preservation and developments of welding and joining technologies of the maritime sector manufacturing industry, oil and gas.
