Building Performance and Technology

Explores architecture and its place in the built environment with regard to technology and the environment. It introduces a range of concepts and intuitive levels of understanding in light, structure, materials, energy rating of dwellings and environmental design.

Building Economics

Introduces basic economic principles, concepts and techniques and their relevance to architectural practice. It demonstrates how the working of the economy impact on construction output and pricing decisions.

Sustainable Building Principles

Explores the principles of sustainable design and drivers of sustainability, together with awareness of ecological footprints, materials, embodied energy and processes of achieving sustainable design.

Building Design

Focuses on the fundamental skills and knowledge in technical design, to develop an understanding of the framework within which design projects are realised in practice.

AutoCAD

AutoCAD is the standard design software used in the engineering, architecture, interior design and construction industries. Designers and drafters use it to create two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) computer drawings.

SketchUp

Use SketchUp interior design software for 3D modeling. Our SketchUp tutorials demonstrate architectural, civil, mechanical, and video game design, and cover advanced tools and techniques including how to build floor plans.

The lesson will be 2 hour per session equivalent to 12 session and the on-the-job training will be 48 hours equivalent to 6 days of actual job assignment.

As part of your training, you will have a project assignment of master plan portfolio that will be showcased to the public including your profile information as the designer.
