We live in a busy world and often move quickly from one task to another in autopilot mode. We focus more on planning for the future, reviewing the past and rarely see ourselves living in the present moment. This results in stressful and dissatisfied employees and therefore affects work output.

Mindfulness is achieved when we consciously pay attention to the present on purpose.  Mindfulness is not just a technique but a way of being.

At the end of this highly-interactive workshop, participants will be able to:

• How it is being practiced in the eastern and western worlds

1. Mindfulness and the brain function

• How mindfulness can help change the structure of the brain which results in sharper memory and better disposition

1. Synchronizing the mind and body through meditation, thus achieving better performance at work

• Applying mindfulness in our everyday activities and choosing how to respond and react/not react in stressful situations

1. Learning to appreciate things that really matter most in life by increasing our sense of joy and gratitude
