WHO WE ARE
Lorraine Technical School is a pioneer of technical education in the Philippines, with deep roots in the communities and industries we have been entrusted to serve for over 50 years.
WHAT WE DO
We create pathways to work opportunities through strong and mutually beneficial relationships with our partner companies. We consistently place highly trained and fully equipped graduates through the constant integration of industry standards and needs into our curriculum.
A cornerstone in our students' development is an environment that values the whole person. At Lorraine, we provide skills training, and we also mold human potential. By empowering our youth, we empower the industries that they go on to serve.
We create the environment that lets us thrive and succeed. We shape our own future by instilling our values, and staying true to the values that Lorraine was founded on.
THE STORY OF LORRAINE
Our longstanding history and tradition goes back to 1947, when the first school was opened in Guagua, Pampanga. The story of Lorraine is unique in its beginnings - through its founder, one woman, who at a very young age, started it all with her sewing machine. On her own, in a town in Pampanga, people came to her to learn how to sew. The students eventually became teachers, others put up their own shops and became local entrepreneur. A livelihood was borne out of the skills that the founder, LORETA LAYUG RAZON, imparted. She shared with her students the values that she exemplified in the way that she taught, did her work, and carried herself, by closely working with her students. ...
