One of the things to ensure an effective public service is to learn how to know your audience, the people you are interacting, and how you develop and convey the message so as to avoid misunderstandings. It is an important interpersonal skill which can improve the coordination and delivery of output in a complex working environment. Moreover, by developing an effective way of communicating with your peers, conflicts are avoided and the capacity to negotiate and arrive at a common ground can be increased. This course provides an in-depth understanding on how you can develop a message, specifically for a targeted audience in order for them to not only understand but to appreciate what information is being provided. In addition, the course will be utilizing an interactive and participative approach to apply theories used for effective interpersonal communication.
