Short Course Overview
This introductory program is intended for Basic Mandarin learners. The program is designed to jumpstart the four essential skills in language acquisition in Mandarin: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Instruction during tutorials is generally conducted in English and Mandarin with Tagalog translations when necessary for Filipino Natives. Learners shall be asked to speak the chosen language during classes for participation and thorough practice. Hanyu Pinyin, abbreviated to pinyin (Chinese pronunciation system), shall be practiced throughout the program. Introduction to Chinese writing system and Chinese typing will also be conducted by providing personalized role-playing using situations encountered in daily life. The students will also be introduced to Chinese culture, customs and traditions which will cultivate the interest of learners in Mandarin language learning.
