Objectives:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to
- Take your first as a Safety Officer by learning the current OSH situation in the Philippines, the importance of compliance to the OSH Standards, the salient points of related legislation, and understand the basic concepts of OSH.
- Have a good understanding of how accidents happen and their underlying factors.
- Learn to identify and control workplace hazards, respond to workplace emergencies such as fire, earthquakes, etc.
- Identify and be familiar with the prescribed administrative requirements of the Department of Labor and Employment in the maintenance and promotion of safety and health in the workplace.
- Learn the characteristics of a good trainer and tips for an effective presentation.
