A Construction Safety and Health Program (CSHP) is required for every construction project and must be approved by DOLE before being submitted to the local government unit (LGU) that covers the project site. The LGU will not issue any project
permits until an approved CSHP is presented. This process is necessary to ensure the safety of workers on the construction site.
