Atty. Alvin Liao Alburo is a practicing lawyer, and the Managing Partner of Alburo Alburo and Associates Law Offices, a law firm which specializes in business law and labor law. Atty. Alburo’s areas of practice are labor relations law, corporate law and intellectual property law, catering legal services to various industries. He is a member of the Technical Working Group of the Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP). Atty. Alburo served as the Head of the Human Resource & Legal Services Department of Crown Asia Chemicals Corporation, a publicly listed company. He was also Legal Officer/Junior Assistant Manager in the Legal Department of Federal Land, Inc., then member of the Metrobank Group, and now of GT Capital Holdings. He is an Assistant Professorial Lecturer of Law in the College of Accountancy of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines San Juan Campus. Formerly, adjunct faculty of law in the College of Arts and Letters of the University of Santo Tomas — taught in the Bachelor of Arts in Legal Management Program. Atty. Alburo completed his studies in the Arellano University School of Law and the University of the Philippines, taking up Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, respectively.
