Who Should Attend

The training should be attended by all employees, not only those who are office-based; there are ergonomic hazards even for those who are mobile and actively working outside (in the field) the physical workplace that must be controlled.

Participants will learn about the identification, evaluation and control of ergonomic hazards – both potential and existing. These hazards may cause various adverse result to employees, such as illnesses, diseases, and injuries which consequently affect their productivity and company’s business operations.

Outline

This Ergonomic Safety Training covers topics such as proper workstation setup, including chair height, monitor placement, and keyboard positioning to reduce strain and prevent musculoskeletal disorders. It also includes techniques for maintaining good posture, safe lifting practices, and the importance of taking regular breaks to avoid repetitive strain injuries.

Additionally, the training emphasizes the identification of ergonomic hazards in the workplace and strategies to mitigate them. It covers the use of ergonomic tools and equipment, such as adjustable chairs and standing desks, as well as the importance of employee involvement in reporting discomfort and suggesting improvements. The goal is to create a work environment that promotes health, comfort, and productivity by reducing the risk of injury.

Ergonomic Safety Training is facilitated by professionals, and either DOLE Accredited OSH Practitioners or DOLE Accredited OSH Consultants.

The resource persons are subject matter experts with updated knowledge, relevant information, skills, and actual work experiences to impart. They are qualified, competent and effective trainers providing valuable learning experience and opportunities for the participants.

If the participant will focus during the training (discussion, question and answer, workshop), they will definitely learn and attain their objectives in attending the training.
