This training should be attended by newly appointed or aspiring Safety Officers, as well as supervisors, managers, and other personnel responsible for workplace safety. It is also beneficial for HR professionals, safety committee members, and anyone involved in developing or overseeing safety programs within their organization.

The Role of Safety Officer Training covers topics such as the core responsibilities of a Safety Officer, including the development and implementation of workplace safety policies and procedures. Participants also learn how to conduct effective safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Another key topic is risk assessment and hazard identification, where trainees are taught how to systematically evaluate workplace risks and prioritize them based on severity. This segment also includes training on incident investigation techniques, enabling participants to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

The training also addresses regulatory compliance, focusing on the importance of understanding and adhering to relevant safety laws and standards. Participants learn how to maintain safety records, conduct employee training sessions, and promote a culture of safety within their organizations.

Roles of Safety Officer Training is facilitated by professionals, and either DOLE Accredited OSH Practitioners or DOLE Accredited OSH Consultants.

The resource persons are subject matter experts with updated knowledge, relevant information, skills, and actual work experiences to impart. They are qualified, competent and effective trainers providing valuable learning experience and opportunities for the participants.

If the participant will focus during the training (discussion, question and answer, workshop), they will definitely learn and attain their objectives in attending the training.
