Requirement: PPE Training is exclusive for all Safety Officers SO3 SO2 SO1 who completed one of these safety officer trainings – 10 hours BOSH SO1, 40 hours BOSH SO2, 40 hours COSH Training.

Outline
The PPE training for Safety Officers covers the fundamentals of personal protective equipment, including the different types of PPE, such as helmets, gloves, eye protection, and respiratory gear. Participants learn how to
assess workplace hazards and determine the appropriate PPE required for specific tasks to ensure worker safety and compliance with regulations.
Another key topic is the correct usage and maintenance of PPE, where Safety Officers are trained on how to properly fit and inspect equipment to ensure it provides adequate protection. This segment also includes guidance on the proper storage and replacement
of PPE to maintain its effectiveness over time.
The training also emphasizes the importance of educating and training workers on the correct use of PPE, focusing on how to communicate the significance of PPE in preventing injuries and illnesses. Participants learn strategies for conducting PPE training sessions,
reinforcing safe practices, and monitoring PPE usage in the workplace to ensure compliance and safety.

PPE Personal Protective Equipment Training is facilitated by professionals, and either DOLE Accredited OSH Practitioners or DOLE Accredited OSH Consultants.
The resource persons are subject matter experts with updated knowledge, relevant information, skills, and actual work experiences to impart. They are qualified, competent and effective trainers providing valuable learning experience and opportunities for the
participants.
If the participant will focus during the training (discussion, question and answer, workshop), they will definitely learn and attain their objectives in attending the training.
