The Child Protection Network (CPN) Foundation, Inc. is composed of doctors, social workers, lawyers, police, and volunteers who are dedicated to ensuring that all children in the Philippines and throughout Asia
are protected from the many faces of abuse. This network for the treatment of abused children has grown from one child protection unit in the Philippine General Hospital in 1997 to currently 84 Women and Child Protection Units (WCPUs) in 48 provinces and
9 cities in the Philippines. The WCPUs have served more than 68,694 children and adolescents. Free direct services such as medical and psychosocial care as well as child safety and legal protection are provided by the WCPUs.
The CPN Foundation also offers specialized trainings and conferences for professionals and individuals in the frontline of women and children protection work providing them with continuing medical, psychosocial care, child safety, and legal protection training
opportunities thereby ensuring that every abused woman and child is treated with compassion and competence they truly deserve.
