Ms. Suavillo has over 19 years of combined experience teaching MAPEH for grade school, secondary, senior high school, and collegiate level. She worked as Piano/Voice Teacher for music centers such as St. Thomas More School Music Center, Yamaha School
of Music, and Peulymar Music Center. She worked as a Music teacher and Choir coordinator at Statesfield School Inc., University of Perpetual Help, Saint Alphonsus Liquori Integrated School, and Don Bosco College.
She currently works as a part-time Music Professor at Harris Memorial College (Taytay, Rizal) and University of Makati. She also concurrently teaches H.O.P.E and works as Music Coordinator of the Senior High School Music Track at Makati High School.
She is a multi-talented musician and singer. She plays the piano, organ, drums, guitar, bass, violin, and rondalla instruments. She brought her talent overseas as Singer/Pianist in Kohako, Japan in 2005/2006. She also used to play piano at Makati Shangri-la
Hotel 2015 and currently a lobby pianist at Manila Hotel.
She competes locally as a solo singer, choir member, and vocalist/musician/band leader for battle of the bands for various school competitions. She also regularly mentors and trains chorale groups as they participate in competitions nationwide. She
also worked as Musical Director for University of Perpetual Help Variety Show and for the Magical Disney Christmas for SM Molino and SM City Bacoor in 2008.
She is regularly invited as facilitator and resource speaker for teachers’ conferences, seminars and workshops for music and demo teaching.
She is a member of Philippine Society of Music Educators and a member of Philippine Chorale Directors Association.
She took up Bachelor of Music in Music Education Major in Piano and Voice at University of Santo Tomas (UST) Conservatory of Music. She is still pursuing her Master of Arts in Education Major in Music Education at Philippine Normal University (PNU).
