History
SitesPhil is a brainchild of its founder, Benjie Brian Zamora. Started In 2009 as a hobby, Mr. Zamora envisioned an IT-aware Philippines by doing community knowledge-sharing. Its original members (Benjie’s circle of friends)
became acquaintances with like-minded IT individuals, who were employed in different companies and work as freelance consultants (most of the time, probono) to the said companies.
Benjie Zamora continued his full time work as an IT professional and eventually developed into a renowned information security expert. This led the company to expand and provide IT Security services in its offerings as well.
SitesPhil however became inactive when he became connected with HP. But despite this, he continued his passion in preaching information technology and security by conducting lectures in conferences and teaching infosec short courses.
Through these conferences, different companies sought his advice regarding the security posture of their organization. Honoring the no-moonlight clause in his full time work, he provided assistance to the said companies in
securing other promising infosec individuals to inspect and provide for their requirements. SitesPhil continued then to be a non-profit, community-driven company.
Today, the company capitalized on minimal charges to help provide employment to aspiring IT skilled individuals who are now deployed to different banking, auditing, and IT companies alike to provide their information security
needs.
