By the end of the two-and-a-half-day workshop participants will be able to identify and present the training need of organizations, groups, or individuals using the appropriate data gathering methods in a problem or opportunity
based approach to needsassessment.

- Explain the importance of conducting needs assessment before designing atraining program
- Describe the process of need assessment at different levels
- Identify training need using the “problem-solving” or “opportunity-based” approaches
- Select and apply the appropriate data-gathering and data-analysis method for each approach
- Present TNA findings and prepare a TNA report
