General Objective:
• Increase the number of competent Safety Auditor qualified to carry-out the provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) and other relevant legislations thereby promote and maintain safe and healthy workplace in different industries.

Specific Course Objectives:

Participants shall have better understanding of the scope and mission of their safety function.

Participants shall have better understanding of the scope and mission of their safety function.
Participants shall have a working knowledge about Occupational Safety and Health Standards and other relevant legislations.
Participants will be able to conduct safety audit and critical examination of , records and management performance to program standards .
Participants shall be able to develop an Audit Plan and Improvements in the health and safety program for their organizations.
Participants shall be able to satisfy the requirements OSHAS 18001.
Participants shall be able to satisfy the training requirements for accreditation as safety practitioners by the Bureau of Working Conditions.

The World Safety Organization (WSO) was founded in 1975, in Manila the Republic of Philippines as a result of a gathering of over 1,000 representatives of the safety professions from all continents at the First World Safety Accident Prevention Congress. The WSO World Management Center was established in the USA in 1987 to respond to all international WSO Activities, the liaison with the United Nations, the cooperation with numerous cooperating, National Safety Councils, professional safety, health and environmental ( and allied areas ) organizations, WSO International Offices, WSO International Chapters, and member corporations, companies, groups and societies.
