Speaker/s
11 years of Human Resources (HR) experience across industries – real estate, information technology, consulting, and shared services. Out of this, 9 years was as an Organization Development (OD) practitioner with experience on performance management, employee engagement, team building, culture building, change management, and learning and development.
Since 2011 when she has discovered her passion in developing individuals and teams, she has been building her expertise in learning and development. She has invested a decade of her career gaining experience on the end-to-end training cycle, in understanding people, and in designing unique learning experiences to support their development.
Some of her key contributions are:
- Facilitated over 100 workshops both in the Philippines and in other Asian countries
- Designed, developed, facilitated, implemented, and evaluated various courses on leadership for individual contributors, communication, time management, presentation skills, change management, interpersonal skills, goal setting, customer service, feedback, etc.
- Managed the capability building initiative to institutionalize a new change management unit in an organization which includes defining the roles, competency framework and assessment, and its curriculum
Trainer 2: Marie Andrelou Solmirano
9 years of experience in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry and Project-based Training Consultancy.
She has worked as a Product Trainer for New Hire employees and Level 2 agent upskilling; as a Lead Voice and Accent Trainer developing modules, facilitating Communication and Soft Skills classroom training for both Voice and Non-Voice accounts, and conducting one-on-one coaching for bottom quartile contributors in operations; as a Team Leader managing up to thirty (30) team members; as a Freelance Speaker/Trainer in universities and review centers for an Ad Agency; and as a Consultant for a Training and Internship initiative of ADB and DOLE.
It has been her passion to see and build up the potential in people, whether in a group or individual setting. With her dedication and enthusiasm to empower others and with her trainees and agents becoming top performers, she has received recognitions such as “Rookie of the Year”, “Top Needle Improvement”, “Stakeholders Favorite”, “Grace Under Pressure” Awardee, “Best Trainer”, “Best Team in CSAT”, “Best Team” in Overall Performance, “Best Team Leader in CSAT”, and “Best Team Leader”.
She believes that, “If you value your people, your people will value their work. And if you take care of your people, your people will take care of the business.” This principle strengthens her fervor to contribute to the learning and development of individuals.
Hershey is a developer at heart with a vision of bringing back people to their design. She is an independent learning and development consultant, partnering with individuals and companies to develop their skill sets and work towards their goals. She wears multiple hats -- as an Organization Development Practitioner, a Development Expert, and a Personal Coach. Each hat allows her to support the varied developmental needs of her clients.
She has been a practitioner of learning and development for over a decade and has facilitated over 100 workshops both in the Philippines and other Asian countries. She has worked on various courses on leadership, personal effectiveness, communication, interpersonal skills, performance management, and change management, to name a few.
Outside her profession, she enjoys playing badminton, baking, and engaging in her weekly dance workout. She is also an eco warrior with an advocacy towards zero-waste.
