COURSE DESCRIPTION

The best laid strategies and plans fall short if not properly executed.

Project Management is composed of three parts:

1. Solving the problem. Seventy percent (70%) of projects are about solving a particular issue in the Organization. Solving problems can be a challenge if our employees are not provided creative problem solving tools. They could end up with a project that does not properly solve the problem.

2. Project Management made simple. We often assign projects to employees that are not equipped or trained to manage projects. The irony of it is that they get blamed when they fail. There are also companies that have complex project management methodologies. Too complex to be used by normal employees.

3. Managing the change. Just because we rolled-out a project that improves a particular part of the organization does not mean it will immediately get accepted. People resist change. We must plan to manage the change.

A. Creative Problem Solving & Decision Making

This workshop will give participants an overview of the entire creative problem solving process, as well as key problem solving tools that they can use every day.
